Job Description

Coordinate special events including the annual, signature fundraising event, Mayfair, the employee giving campaign We Care! We Share and Third Party fundraising events.

FLSA-EXEMPT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in volunteer recruitment.

Coordinate and facilitate committees including agendas, meeting arrangements, record keeping and correspondence

Facilitate event planning

Assist in the development and coordination of event collateral materials

Develop and organize timetables

Coordinate all event logistics including contracts and agreements, venue access, entertainment details, etc.

Maintain calendar of events

Manage event spreadsheets and other ticket information

Assist in development of event budget and monitor income and expenses

Assist in development and coordination of event communication

Assist in event stewardship including thank you letters, phone calls, recognition events

Coordinate all event wrap up, including reports and final results

Coordinate any third party fundraising event details with event organizers and determine the Foundation’s level of involvement

Organize and attend check presentations for third party fundraising events

Assist in the identification of prospective donors

Other fund raising duties as assigned

Professional Requirements:

Adheres to dress code.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in fundraising and special event planning.

Exceptional organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent commuter skills with experience with Raiser’s Edge a plus

Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, other staff members and various stakeholders

Language Skills:

Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Other Skills:

Basic computer knowledge, data entry and/or word processing.
